Program Overview:
- Fireflies™ is a high quality, professionally designed early learning program that helps create enthusiasm for learning and builds school readiness skills.
- Activities and assessment materials are aligned with early learning standards.
- Includes weekly notes for parents including songs and book lists.
- Strategies help to include children with various developmental needs, experiences, and different cultures.
- Parent participation, transition, and closing activities are added for each day.
Children learn by doing! They are interested in hands-on materials and should be offered opportunities to make meaningful choices. Fireflies offers a wide variety of ideas to build early literacy, math, science, social skills, and MORE!
Fireflies curriculum addresses each child socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively! Each activity stimulates thinking, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving.
Based on current early learning research, the curriculum actively engages children and supports differences in learning styles, maturity, and interests!
