Health & Safety

"We take the extra steps to ensure a clean and healthy environment for your child's safety"

Your child's health and safety while at school is a top priority. Teachers are trained in Cpr and first aid as well as health and safety basics. The center has an emergency preparedness plan in place and follows state rules and guidelines.

Busy Bees maintains a clean and sanitary environment by taking time to clean our facility daily. Our floors, walks, walls, and kitchen areas will always be clean. The food preparation area is far away from any toilets.  Diaper changing stations and  trash are not left sitting un-emptied. Our building is adequately heated, lit, and ventilated. Toys and play equipment are in good repair, safety mechanisms are in place, and teachers ensure toys, tables and diaper areas are properly cleaned. Children and staff wash hands often while singing songs and practicing turn taking. We assess child health and monitor children throughout the day to avoid the spread of illness. We have a health policy in place for teachers to follow as well as food preparation and safety guidelines.

Only pre approved persons, over the age of 18, may be allowed to pick up your child from care with written permission. A photo ID must be provided and a proper child care seat.

Teachers are prepared and will look out for all children as if they were their own. We work together as a team with parents and appreciate any communication regarding your child to help us provide top notch quality care!
